The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Luna Fakes a Prison Attack as Bill and Steffy Declare War

Tuesday’s (October 21) episode of The Bold and the Beautiful delivered high drama and shocking manipulation, as Luna resorted to a dangerous scheme to escape prison, Bill vowed to take custody of her unborn baby, and Steffy swore she’d never let Luna threaten her family again.

Steffy and Luna Face Off

The episode opened with an icy confrontation between Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Luna (Lisa Yamada). Still furious over Luna’s past crimes, Steffy made it clear she wasn’t buying Luna’s new “motherhood card.”

Steffy warned, “Your baby isn’t a ticket to freedom. The Spencers will take it the moment it’s born.”

But Luna was defiant. She insisted that Bill (Don Diamont) and Katie (Heather Tom) wouldn’t let their grandchild be born behind bars, calling herself “family” and promising that Will Spencer would “come around.” Steffy dismissed the claims, calling Luna’s delusions “pathetic,” and walked out, declaring she was done letting Luna haunt her life.

Bill’s Ruthless Vow

Luna’s next visitor was Bill himself, and any hope she had for compassion evaporated fast. When Luna tried to charm him, Bill silenced her: “Shut up. You don’t get to talk your way out of this.”

He revealed that he and Katie planned to take custody of her child, calling her “a psycho” who needed to remain locked up. Luna’s attempt to play the “grandfather” card backfired when Bill snapped, “You’ll never see that baby again. You’ll have no influence, no control, no contact.”

He even admitted he regretted helping her once before — and promised to pull strings to keep her behind bars this time. The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, October 21: Luna goes to the extreme to get out of prison

Luna’s Desperate Plan

Back in her cell, Luna realized that sympathy was the only card she had left. Talking with another inmate, she concocted a disturbing idea: she’d fake a violent prison attack, hoping it would force Bill’s hand.

It’s the same trick that secured her release once before — and she’s convinced it will work again. Her plan? To make Bill believe the mother of his grandchild is in grave danger, forcing him to move her to a safer place — ideally, the Spencer estate.

If successful, Luna will have nine months of freedom to regroup and manipulate her way back into Will’s life. The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, October 21: Luna goes to the extreme to get out of prison

The Forresters Reunite

Elsewhere, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor (Krista Allen) visited Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy, who was finally home after confronting Luna. Ridge praised Steffy’s strength, but she couldn’t hide her anger over how long her parents kept Luna’s survival a secret.

Steffy admitted she gained closure from facing Luna, but her frustration with Ridge choosing Brooke over Taylor boiled to the surface. After Taylor left, Steffy and Finn took a quiet moment together — reaffirming their love and relief that Luna was locked away for good.

Bill and Will’s Resolve

At the Spencer mansion, Will confessed to Katie that Luna’s pregnancy and manipulation had left him emotionally shattered. Bill, wracked with guilt over ever trusting Luna, promised to undo the damage.

Katie worried about the baby’s future, but Bill made his position clear: “There’s no saving grace for Luna. The moment that baby is born, we’re taking it from her.”

Coming Up Next

With Luna’s fake assault plot in motion and Bill’s iron-clad custody plan looming, the tension is only set to escalate. Will her dangerous manipulation earn her a second chance — or seal her fate for good?
