THE EMMERDALE NIGHTMARE: Drug Queen Celia Daniels Tightens Her Vise, Ray Walters Is Just A Puppet!
The darkness is swallowing Emmerdale, and viewers are absolutely reeling: the mastermind behind the vicious drug operation is none other than Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) – the eccentric farmer everyone dismissed as a side character! She is the one who has plunged Dylan Penders and young April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) into mortal danger.
And the most terrifying part? She couldn’t care less about the children’s fate. Celia is utterly ruthless, cold-blooded to the core.
The Chilling Truth About The ‘Kingpin’ Ray Walters
We once mistakenly believed Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) was the drug lord, but the truth is far more gruesome: He is merely a puppet firmly under Celia’s thumb! Ray is, in fact, her adoptive son, whom she found on the streets as a young boy and groomed to become her right-hand man, running her evil empire.
Actress Jaye Griffiths revealed: “Everyone assumes it’s Ray, good-looking white bloke, but actually he is a child compared to Celia. She has overseers who do the actual work and she just runs everything. She’s the boss, there’s no one else, it’s her domain.”
The Vicious Scheme: Ensnared by a Bloody Debt!
Ray has cleverly cultivated a relationship with Dylan and April, making them believe he is on their side, trying his best to buffer them from his ‘bosses.’ But April has already had a nasty run-in with Celia and is now in no doubt about who is truly running the operation.
In upcoming episodes, the vise will tighten. Dylan has just passed his driving test thanks to the course Ray funded. But Ray immediately reminds him: his debt has increased, and he will need to work extra hard to pay it off.
Dylan’s job at the depot is a golden opportunity to shift drugs across the country. Ray and Celia are ready to exploit this. Ray pressures Dylan into taking a consignment of drugs when he drives to Hull on a trial shift for Jai.
But the plan nearly collapses: Jai tells Dylan he’ll just be going along for the ride, and Billy will do the actual driving.’
April: Pushed Into a Bottomless Pit!
Celia is also keen for April to do more. Ray tells the young girl she must go to Liverpool for a ‘job.’ Desperate to find a way out of her debt that doesn’t involve dealing drugs, April hits on the idea of stealing some of Rhona’s jewellery—but Rhona disturbs her before she can carry out the plan.
Seeing no other way out, April agrees to the Liverpool job. But Ray coldly says it’s too late, someone else is doing it. Instead, he has something else for her to do—and this is where the story takes an even more disturbing twist!
The Deadly Trap in the Hotel Room!
Ray drives April to a hotel. He gives her cocaine to take to a ‘valuable client’ and tells her to have a drink while she waits.
When the client, a man named Tim, arrives, he accepts the cocaine and offers April vodka.
And then, the nightmare becomes reality: April finds herself trapped in a bedroom with Tim—she is in grave danger!
Will April escape the clutches of the Drug Queen Celia and her puppet Ray? Tune in to Emmerdale to find out the tragic fate of the young girl!
