The Young and the Restless Recap: Claire Walks Away from Kyle as Power Plays Explode

The latest episode of The Young and the Restless delivered heartbreak at the Abbott mansion, fierce plotting at Newman Ranch, and shattered alliances across Genoa City. Claire finally made her choice, Victor prepared for war, and Billy refused to back down.

Claire Breaks Kyle’s Heart

At the Abbott home, Kyle welcomed Claire in for breakfast, where Harrison eagerly greeted her in Italian and begged them both to take him to school. The sweet family moment briefly masked the tension between Claire and Kyle.

After dropping Harrison off, Claire revealed the truth over breakfast: she wasn’t ready to continue their relationship. She admitted she had rushed into things and needed time to make her own choices without leaning on others. Though she assured Kyle she still loved him, Claire insisted she had to walk away for now.

Kyle, blindsided, confessed he thought they were headed toward marriage. But Claire asked him not to fight her decision. With quiet finality, she left—later calling Holden to ask if his offer to show her Los Angeles was still open.

Victor Declares War on Cane

At the Newman Ranch, Victor gathered Nikki, Nick, and Victoria to discuss the growing threat of Cane. Convinced Cane was tied to Colin’s latest scam, Victor vowed to expose him. Nick warned Cane could unleash his AI scheme to destabilize Genoa City, but Victor believed the man wasn’t ready for such destruction—yet.

Victor also revealed that Jack had come to him with a surprising proposal: teaming up to take Cane down. Together, they planned to use Jill’s influence as Cane’s weakness. Nikki worried Victor would twist the alliance against Jack, but Victor dismissed her concerns.

Meanwhile, Victoria and Nick predicted disaster. Both doubted Jill would choose their side, while Billy’s heartbreak over her favoritism toward Cane still loomed large.

Sally and Audra Clash Over Ambition

In Chancellor Park, Sally and Audra jogged toward new beginnings—but clashed over business. Sally revealed she’d given Billy an ultimatum to either drop Chancellor or lose her. Billy chose her, and she was convinced Abbott Communications was back on track.

Audra, skeptical, accused Sally of trying to convince herself. Their shared dream of building something without men’s interference seemed in jeopardy as Sally leaned harder on Billy. When Sally admitted they had no funding until Jack came through, Audra bristled—angry that their fate was once again in men’s hands.

Jack Shuts Billy Down

At Jabot, Jack reached out to Jill, hoping she might see Cane for who he really was. Jill, however, resisted the idea that Cane was dangerous. Their tense call ended when Billy walked in.

Billy pleaded for Jack to invest in Abbott Communications, swearing he had changed and was focused on the company with Sally. Jack, unconvinced, refused—arguing Billy had pushed him too far too many times.

Crushed but determined, Billy ran into Sally and Audra at Crimson Lights, admitting Jack had turned him down. Still, he vowed their dream wasn’t dead.
