What We Know About The Dutton Ranch

The spinoff—first teased under the name Rio Palo—was confirmed in August by 101 Studios CEO David Glasser. Soon after, Ferris city officials revealed it was in fact the long-awaited Beth and Rip series announced following Yellowstone Season 5.

According to its current logline:

“The Dutton Ranch, home to Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser), is a testament to the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died for, as they’ve come to cherish their 7,000-acre land. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter (Finn Little) becomes the man he’s supposed to be.”

Alongside Reilly, Hauser, and Finn Little, the cast will also feature Ed Harris and Annette Bening.

Paramount has yet to announce an official premiere date, but the spinoff is expected to debut in 2026.

Final Thoughts

For die-hard Yellowstone fans, this casting call offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Duttons—or at least, to grab a slice of the drama unfolding in North Texas. With Beth and Rip at the center of the storm, this new chapter promises to be every bit as fiery, chaotic, and emotional as the flagship series.

If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into Sheridan’s cinematic Wild West, now’s your chance.
