Yellowstone fans, saddle up. The long-awaited spin-off centered on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler has officially been titled The Dutton Ranch—and it promises an emotionally charged, high-stakes continuation of the couple’s fierce love and the legacy they’re fighting to protect.

Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser return as the iconic pair, and the series will stay grounded in the present-day Yellowstone timeline, following the dramatic aftermath of the flagship show’s finale.

Love, Land, and a Legacy Under Fire

According to Deadline, The Dutton Ranch focuses on Beth and Rip’s life on their 7,000-acre stretch of paradise. It’s the land they bled for, sacrificed everything for—and now they must defend it from both nature and man.

As the official synopsis teases:

“The Dutton Ranch, home to Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, is a testament to the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died for… With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter becomes the man he’s supposed to be.”

Enter Beulah Jackson—Played by Oscar-Nominee Annette Bening

Joining the cast is Annette Bening, who takes on the role of Beulah Jackson—described as “powerful, cunning, and charming.” Beulah leads a major ranching empire in Texas, and all signs point to her being both a rival and mirror to Beth.

With Bening’s gravitas and decades of acclaimed performances—including American Beauty, 20th Century Women, Captain Marvel, and Oscar-nominated Nyad—Beulah is expected to be one of the most formidable adversaries the Duttons have ever faced.

Paramount’s Power Team Returns

The spin-off is helmed by Yellowstone mastermind Taylor Sheridan, and backed by a powerhouse producing team including David C. Glasser, John Linson, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and more. The series will be produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
