Yellowstone’s Beth and Rip Spinoff Officially Titled The Dutton Ranch Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser Return, Annette Bening Joins the Cast

The Dutton Legacy Continues

The Yellowstone universe just got even bigger. Paramount and Taylor Sheridan have officially announced that the highly anticipated spinoff centered on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler now has a title — The Dutton Ranch.

Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser will reprise their iconic roles as Beth and Rip in this continuation of the Yellowstone timeline. The series will follow the couple as they navigate new challenges, protect their 7,000-acre home, and guide their adopted son Carter into adulthood.

According to Deadline, the series is described as “a testament to the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died for.” With the Duttons facing fierce new rivals, the spinoff promises to deliver the same mix of grit, romance, and high-stakes family drama that made the original show a cultural phenomenon.

Annette Bening Rides Into the Yellowstone Universe

In an inspired casting move, five-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening joins the spinoff as Beulah Jackson, the powerful and charismatic head of a Texas ranch empire.

Bening, recently nominated for her acclaimed performance in Nyad, brings a commanding presence to the Yellowstone world. Her long list of credits — from American Beauty to The Kids Are All Right and 20th Century Women — makes her the perfect fit to go toe-to-toe with Beth Dutton.

Her role signals a new frontier for The Dutton Ranch, one that could expand the series’ reach beyond Montana and into a Texas showdown.

Taylor Sheridan’s Creative Powerhouse Returns

Behind the camera, Taylor Sheridan reunites with his core producing team: David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Chad Feehan. Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are also credited as executive producers, continuing their deep creative involvement.

Produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the same partnership behind Yellowstone, 1883, and 1923, the spinoff promises to carry the franchise’s cinematic scope and emotional intensity into its next chapter.
