Beth and Rip Return for a New Chapter in the Yellowstone Universe

The long-rumored Yellowstone spinoff centered on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler has finally been given a name — and it’s as iconic as the couple themselves. The new series, officially titled The Dutton Ranch, will see Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprise their beloved roles in a continuation of the Yellowstone timeline.

Created and executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, the spinoff will unfold in the present day, chronicling Beth and Rip’s next chapter as they fight to preserve the land and the peace they nearly died to protect.

According to the official description shared by Deadline,

“The Dutton Ranch, home to Beth Dutton (Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Hauser), is a testament to the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died for, as they’ve come to cherish their 7,000-acre land. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter (Finn Little) becomes the man he’s supposed to be.”

Annette Bening Saddles Up as a New Rival

In an exciting casting coup, Annette Bening has joined the series as Beulah Jackson, described as “a powerful, cunning, and charming head of a major ranch in Texas.”

Bening’s arrival brings heavyweight prestige to the Yellowstone universe. The acclaimed actress, recently nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Nyad (2023), has an impressive filmography that includes American Beauty, The Kids Are All Right, 20th Century Women, and Captain Marvel.

Her addition hints that The Dutton Ranch won’t just be a domestic saga — it will expand the show’s reach, possibly pitting the Duttons against new Texas rivals as they navigate a changing ranching world. How 'Yellowstone' Just Set Up Its Rip And Beth Spinoff - Wide Open Country
